Yoga nidra is the most relaxing type of yoga.
It’s called the ‘Yoga of sleep’ because it brings you into a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.
Lying on your back, you are guided into meditation and experience deep relaxation through all the layers in your body.
Yoga nidra helps to relax on a physical, emotional and mental level. You will relax while you remain aware. In nidra we disconnect from the senses, except for the sense of hearing. By disconnecting the senses as if you are asleep, your brain will get into a relaxing state.
